Barbara Day

At the age of 33 Barbara took her Principles of Accounts Grade A exams, following which she set up her own business servicing the books in the cleaning, printing, electrical and motor industry, though most of her work was sourced from the cleaning industry.
In 2003 Barbara decided to close her business and took up employment as Financial Controller for a cleaning company, later going on to become Finance Director. The company was then sold in 2008 at which point Barbara planned to retire, but after 8 weeks at home she decided that she needed something extra to do.
Barbara joined the firm in 2009, but has had an association with us through her business interests for over 40 years. She has two children and two grandchildren who take up much of her home life.
